AMA ARENACROSS SERIES
FRIDAY
AND SATURDAY - PRO CLASSES
The focus of the Arenacross Championship will be the Arenacross Class. Riders
competing in this class will only have to race one class, on one bike,
in one main event each night. All Arenacross Class & Arenacross Lites competitors: Sound
Requirements are to be a maximum of 97 decibels per AMA Arenacross Rule
Book specifications. The decibel level will be monitored throughout the
AMA Arenacross Series. Be prepared to adjust your exhaust system to meet
requirements.
Approved equipment for the Arenacross and Arenacross Lites Classes will
allow machines that are produced as 125cc 2-stroke, 144cc 2-stroke and
250cc 4-stroke. Production machines produced as a 125cc 2-stroke are allowed
to bore and stroke up to 144cc.
To obtain an AMA Supercross Lites endorsement through the AMA Arenacross
Series, riders must earn 35 points in the Arenacross Class or 60 points
in the Arenacross Lites Class. To obtain a Supercross Class endorsement
through the AMA Arenacross Series riders must earn 50 points in the 2009
Arenacross Class. Riders cannot combine points between the two classes
in order to meet the point's requirements.
Arenacross
CLASS: At each event the Arenacross Class will pay a nightly purse of
$8,250 - $11,000. Championship points will be awarded each night for the
Arenacross Class main event, according to the point structure.
Arenacross
Lites CLASS: In addition to the Arenacross Class that will be the featured
part of each night's competition program, every AMA Arenacross event will
also include the Arenacross Lites Class for pro riders to test their skills
on the challenging AMA Arenacross tracks. The Arenacross Lites Class will
pay a nightly purse of $1,200.
The Arenacross Lites Class will have 4 regions which contain a Central,
Midwest, East and West Championship Series. Points will be issued and
a champion in each region will be announced. The champion in each region
will receive a free entry card for the 2010 season, 4 event tickets to
(1) supercross event, a merchandise pack and a number one plate for that
region. Along with the prizes listed above, purse money and factory contingency
money are available for all rounds. See page 1 for purse structure and

Riders who finished in the top 10 in points from the previous years Arenacross
Class are not eligible to compete in the Arenacross Lites Class at the
first event of the series. Beginning with round 1-night 2 of the current
series, the top 10 riders in points in the Arenacross Class are not eligible
to compete in the Arenacross Lites Class.

Contingency
Program:
The Arenacross Series is expected to have millions in purse, contingency
and awards offered for all competitors whether you are a beginner or expert.
In order to receive contingencies riders must fulfill all sponsor rules
and regulations. In addition some contingency sponsors may require you
to fill out applications prior to the rider's first race. Please check
all contingency guidelines on arenacross.com. Contingency forms will be
available at the events and must be filled out in order to receive payback.

DAY PIT PASS:
Three-day pit pass adult only $50 and child $30, available online or onsite
at the event.

All participants must present a valid driver´s license or photo ID at registration.
If under the age of 18 a parent, legal guardian or authorized adult (with
notarized letter) MUST sign release forms and remain present with the
minor all day. The parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult must present
a driver´s license or valid photo ID. NO EXCEPTIONS!
AGE
LIMITS:
A rider´s age as of January 1, 2009 will determine his/her age for
the series. However, a rider may move up to the next higher class if he/she
will be eligible (birthday falls within the series) to do so at any time
during the series, but once the rider moves to the higher age class, he/she
may not move back to the lower class. Riders are encouraged to determine
which age class they will participate in at the beginning of the series
and remain in that age class for the entire series. Qualifying positions
earned for the finals in a lower class will not transfer to the higher
age class. The referee or clerk may request a rider´s proof of age.
PIT
PASS:
A driver´s license or valid photo ID is required to purchase a pit
pass. No one is allowed in the pit area unless with a rider. If under
the age of 18 a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult MUST sign
release forms and remain present with the minor all day. The parent, legal
guardian, or authorized adult must present a driver´s license or
valid photo ID. A pit pass allows you access to the pits as well as the
rider seating section. (A pit pass does not guarantee you a seat in rider
seating for any reason). For a one day pass Adults: $25 and Children 12
and under: $15
QUALIFYING
POSITIONS:
The number of qualifying positions out of the heats and semis that make
it to the main event is determined by the number of entries in your particular
class.
MINICYCLE:
All minicycle class machines must be run in
the class for which they were originally manufactured, (excluding super
mini).

BEGINNER
CLASS:
Rider with 6 months or less motocross experience. Beginner class cannot
double the "Large Catapult". Riders attempting to ride the beginner
class who have reached more than 6 months will be automatically advanced
to the next skill level. The Beginner class will not receive points for
the Arenacross Amateur World Finals.
EXPERT
CLASS:
Expert Class has a 100% payback based on number of entries. Points earned
in the Expert Class on Sunday DO NOT apply towards SX Endorsement or Pro
License points.
If
you register in the AMA Arenacross Class at any time during the season
on Friday or Saturday you are restricted to the Expert Class on Sunday.
If
you register for the AMA Arenacross Lites Class at any time during the
season on Friday or Saturday you are eligible to race the Expert Class
and all age appropiate classes on Sunday.
PRACTICE:
At registration you will be given a list of general rules, practice schedule,
and practice tickets. It is your responsibility to read and understand
the general rules and schedule. Amateurs; One practice per class. Violators
will be handled at discretion of the referee. NO LATE PRACTICE! NO REFUNDS
ONCE PRACTICE BEGINS!
SPECTATOR

Tickets will allow you into the facility at the following times Friday
and Saturday 6:30pm Sunday 11:00am times could vary depending on venue
PARKING
AND PIT AREA:
Depending on venue, oversized parking may be limited and parking fees
may apply. Pit areas vary from venue to venue, be prepared to pit outdoors.

AMATEUR ARENACROSS
WORLD FINALS:
The Arenacross Series, Sunday Amateur day is divided into four regions
throughout the United States. A variety of Youth and Amateur classes race
for fame, glory, and points. These points are totaled in each separate
region in order to crown the top five riders in each class.
The 2009 seasons will qualify 420 of the best amateur riders in the nation,
to participate in the 10th annual Amateur Arenacross World Finals.
Five riders from 21 different classes and four different regions will
make there way to Las Vegas, NV.
