Why did you want to become Miss Arenacross?
Since I am an active racer, I thought it would be an amazing opportunity to help promote the sport I love during my off season. I have always loved attending arenacross races, and I wanted to be able to share my eager passion with the fans! I love being around and interacting with people, especially people who are as excited about this sport as I am!
Your past MX/AX Involvement?
I have ridden dirt bikes since I was eight years old. From there, I attended a couple of local fair races. I attended my first amateur motocross national down in Gainesville, Florida when I was 14. From there it sky rocketed. Now I attend all of the amateur nationals and in 2009 I am actually stepping up to the WMA series.
What else do you do? Are you a student? Do you work?
Other than this amazing opportunity being Miss Arenacross, I have an insane schedule! I am currently a full time college student at a community college in Grand Rapids. I am finishing up my pre-reqs before transferring to another university to obtain my major in Marketing Communications. I am also a waitress at Café Connection and I just started working with Burton Snowboards in their Regional sales.
Why should fans embrace you as Miss AX?
I hope fans embrace me as Miss Arenacross because I am a ?What you see is what you get? kind of girl. I have an addicting, bubbly personality and I can't wait to share my enthusiasm and passion. I love getting people excited about racing and this is an amazing chance for my passion to shine through to the fans! I am looking forward to representing and promoting my sport this season!
Favorite Rider:
Ricky Carmichael
1000 plus girls tried out to become Miss Arenacross, how did you feel when you got the top 25?
When I saw I was in the top 25 I was so pumped that I talked to everyone and got them excited about voting for me! I started telling everyone and I think my excitement got everyone else excited!
What was your reaction when you got the call that you were Miss Arenacross?
When I got the call? Honestly, I was shaking! I was so stoked. I always thought about what it would be like, but to actually get the call? Wow. Words can't describe how pumped I was! I am so excited for the opportunity to interact with the fans, get them involved in the events, and hopefully my passion will be contagious and they will become as addicted as I am
Why should fans embrace you as Miss AX?
I am an active racer. With that said, I can fully relate to the racers. I know what's going on down on the track, and I want to share my life long passion with the fans and bring the race to them. I am so excited to switch sides, from the racing side to the promoting side. Being Miss Arenacross is a dream come true for me. I have longed for the moment where I can step up and start promoting the sport that has been my life for so long. This sport is my life, my love, and my passion. I want to share this with the fans, and get them as excited as I am. This sport is such an addiction. The adrenaline, thrill, and excitement is always flying through the arena and that's what makes it so amazing! I am a huge people person, and all of the arenacross fans will find this out this season. The passion I have for this sport will shine through me without a doubt this season. I look forward to representing arenacross this season as your Miss Arenacross!
